For those of you lucky enough to be on DJDeedle's home island, Kauai, you'll have the chance to dance yourselves silly to the musical madness of Deedlecast live. DJDeedle spins a live mashup/remix show from 8:00PM to 1:00AM at the 15th Annual Lambda Aloha Halloween Dance and Costume Ball. DJDeedle promises grooves and sounds from five decades mashed, mixed, and amalgamated for your dancing pleasure.
Post Punk

Nexus 7
The 1982 film, "Bladerunner," presents us with a dystopian Los Angeles in the year 2019 where genetically engineered organic robots called replicants, virtually indistinguishable from adult humans, are manufactured by the powerful by a seemingly all-powerful corporation. There are six models of replicants, Nexus 1 through 6, each endowed with specialized traits and abilities. This week, DJDeedle creates a new replicant, the "Nexus 7" model. Crafted from the amazing sounds of the film's original soundtrack by Vangelis, mixed and mashed with 21st century artists Fromage Disco, Zomby, Mojo Triage, Phillippe Maujard, Dauwd, Jean Michel Jarre, and John Pemble, this Deedlecast captures the neo-noir flavor of the film, as well as providing a singularly unique chillout experience.

A dear and longtime friend of DJDeedle's mentioned the other day that he had been working back-to-back night shifts. Since that time, the Commodores' song "Night Shift" has been playing in the DJ's head. When that happens, these songs on mental replay more often than not collide with other beats, rhythms, and other songs.
